It is completely natural to feel anxious about moving into a care home. It is a considerable transition, but one we try to make as easy as possible. We encourage you to come along for a day visit so you can take part in an activity, meet other residents and have a meal in our dining room. We’re confident that you will soon see what a caring and lovely, homely environment we have here.
We will help you to arrange your room just the way you like and will do all the little things which are important to you, such as bringing you your daily newspaper every day, or remembering your favourite TV programme.
That is completely up to you. Every day we have different activities, but you should spend your time exactly how you please. Let us know whether you like joining in group activities, prefer to spend time alone or to venture further afield for trips to Andover or Salisbury.
It is great! The food at Ashbourne Court is designed to be nutritious, balanced, and tailored to meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
Meals are freshly prepared by our talented catering team and residents are offered a variety of options at each mealtime, ensuring they have choice and can enjoy their favourite dishes. We accommodate all dietary requirements and food intolerances.
Our menus include traditional British fare alongside lighter options, and meals are made with seasonal ingredients for freshness and diversity. Meals are served in communal dining areas to encourage social interaction, though residents can opt to dine in their rooms if preferred.
Snacks and drink are available throughout the day.
We love animals at Ashbourne Court and we may be able to accommodate some pets, so please do have a chat with our home manager to see what might be possible.
